OUR MISSION 1. To assist the homeless by providing emergency shelters. 2. To provide food and clothing for the needy. 3. To reach out to and provide programmes for children and especially dysfunctional youth residing mainly in the inner city thereby assisting in crime prevention. 4. To reach out to and assist ex-convicts in becoming productive citizens and reducing the recidivism rate. 5. To provide special programmes for men. 6. To establish a youth recreational center. 7. To offer training in Evangelism and Missions. 8. To establish emergency shelters, churches, and vocational schools throughout The Caribbean. Africa and Asia, as the Lord provides. 9. To reach out to and rehabilitate persons affected by substance abuse. 10. To empower persons financially through job creation, small business ownership, leadership development and vocational training.
OUR IMMEDIATE GOALS · To locate a local or foreign donor who can provide at least one container of grocery each month for distribution to our clients. · To raise additional funds in order to meet our monthly budget. · To complete construction of Hope City Homeless Shelter on Carmichael Road, a 70 bed facility for homeless men, women and children. Donations of cash, building materials and labour are needed. · To acquire 15 new computers in order to update the computer lab, and replace obsolete non-functioning computers. · To find a donor who will purchase 2 thirty (30) seat buses for transporting children and clients. The estimated cost $75,000 each. · To solicit a donor who will finance the purchase of additional musical instruments and uniforms for GCM 'Save the Children' Club Marching Band along with additional chairs, tables, video games and other equipment needed for the Club.
